Housekeeper – Room Attendant in Canada with Visa Sponsorships

Job Description:

The staff at Jasper Inn & Suites collaborates daily to give our visitors an exceptional stay. You play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a tidy and relaxing stay as a housekeeper.

• 30 to 40 hours a week spread across 5 to 6 shifts (varies depending on the season)
• Seasonal and year-round availability
• Although training is important, experience is a plus.
• Starter Pay is $17 per hour.

Housekeeper – Room Attendant Duties:

• Daily cleaning services should be made available to visitors.
• Fill up the task papers for the rooms that need to be cleaned each day.
• Keep an eye out for any maintenance issues and report them.
• assist with maintaining the linen rooms, carts, and materials for cleaning.
• Deliver items from Lost and Found to the designated office.
• Follow all resort safety guidelines to maintain the security of both personnel and visitors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the halls and common areas (vacuuming, dusting, etc.) at specific times.
• Turn mattresses and rearrange furniture as needed.
• bringing trash to sites with loading docks.
• Give introductory details about the amenities and deal with complaints
• Respond to visitor inquiries and provide services as requested.
• As directed by the team lead and the housekeeping manager, assists coworkers.
• assist with laundry as needed.
• Complete any additional tasks deemed necessary and assigned by the team lead and housekeeping manager.

Knowledge, abilities, and skills needed:

• Possess the ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Work with cleaning agents; instruction in proper use will be provided.
• standing still for a long time.
• willing to work on the weekends.
• Wear the necessary uniform and adhere to the Jasper Inn & Suites Dress Code upon reporting for work.
• A friendly, team-focused environment.
• must possess a working visa for Canada. LMIA is not something we offer.
