Key Responsibilities:

1. Youth Engagement: Build positive relationships with young individuals and provide support and mentorship.
2. Counseling: Offer emotional support and counseling to youth facing various challenges, such as behavioral issues or family problems.
3. Case Management: Develop and implement individualized service plans for each youth, addressing their unique needs and goals.
4. Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of youth under your care, providing supervision and guidance.
5. Life Skills Training: Facilitate life skills workshops and activities to enhance the personal development of youth.
6. Crisis Intervention: Handle crisis situations calmly and effectively, following established protocols.
7. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions, progress, and incidents.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and educators, to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience working with youth in a similar capacity is a plus.
• Empathy: Demonstrated empathy and understanding for the needs and challenges of youth.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Visa Sponsorship: Must require visa sponsorship to work legally in the USA.
