Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
  3. Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
  4. Demand Planning: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
  5. Inventory Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels while ensuring product availability.
  6. Cost Control: Monitor and control supply chain costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and quality standards.
  8. Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CIPS) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement processes, and logistics.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
