Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering Design: Develop and oversee engineering designs for infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate engineering projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure, including roads, bridges, water supply, and wastewater systems.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Permitting and Approvals: Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for engineering projects.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the community to gather input, address concerns, and communicate project updates.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field, depending on the specific engineering discipline.
- Professional engineering certification or eligibility for certification.
