- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including business development, project management, and technical experts, to create winning strategies for new business pursuits.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals, bids, and presentations that effectively articulate Mace Group’s value proposition and differentiate us from competitors.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks.
- Track and manage the opportunity pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads through the sales cycle.
- Proactively engage with clients to identify their evolving needs and provide innovative solutions that align with Mace Group’s capabilities.
- Collaborate with the project delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from the opportunity phase to project implementation.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing and business development strategies to enhance Mace Group’s market presence and brand reputation.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of business development activities, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar business development or opportunity management role within the construction industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the construction market, including industry trends, clients, and competitors.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain productive relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading the development and submission of complex proposals and bids.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
