Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and research potential business opportunities aligned with Mace Group’s strategic objectives and target markets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored proposals.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams, including business development, project management, and technical experts, to create winning strategies for new business pursuits.
  4. Lead the development of compelling proposals, bids, and presentations that effectively articulate Mace Group’s value proposition and differentiate us from competitors.
  5. Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks.
  6. Track and manage the opportunity pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads through the sales cycle.
  7. Proactively engage with clients to identify their evolving needs and provide innovative solutions that align with Mace Group’s capabilities.
  8. Collaborate with the project delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from the opportunity phase to project implementation.
  9. Support the development and implementation of marketing and business development strategies to enhance Mace Group’s market presence and brand reputation.
  10. Monitor and evaluate the success of business development activities, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a similar business development or opportunity management role within the construction industry or a related field.
  2. Strong understanding of the construction market, including industry trends, clients, and competitors.
  3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain productive relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  4. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  5. Demonstrated experience in successfully leading the development and submission of complex proposals and bids.
  6. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  8. Strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure new business and partnerships.
  9. Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools to manage and track opportunities.
  10. A bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
