Key Responsibilities:

1. Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing bed linens and replenishing amenities.
2. Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, ensuring all fixtures, surfaces, and mirrors are spotless.
3. Floor Care: Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and perform regular maintenance to ensure cleanliness.
4. Dusting and Polishing: Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and room accessories.
5. Trash Removal: Empty wastebaskets and replace liners, disposing of trash in a hygienic manner.
6. Linen Management: Maintain an inventory of clean linens and towels and replace as needed.
7. Restocking Amenities: Replenish guest room amenities, such as toiletries and coffee supplies.
8. Quality Checks: Perform quality checks to ensure rooms meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards.
9. Guest Requests: Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
10. Common Areas: Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms.
11. Report Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms or common areas to the appropriate department.
12. Laundry Duties: Assist with laundry operations, including washing, folding, and organizing linens.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not always required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
