Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and store incoming goods, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality checks.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including stocktaking, labeling, and organizing merchandise.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Utilize manual and automated equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners, to move and handle goods safely.
• Follow proper handling and storage procedures for different types of products, including fragile and hazardous items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including clearing debris and maintaining walkways.
• Comply with health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve daily targets and meet productivity goals.
• Report any issues, malfunctions, or damages to equipment or goods to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of received and dispatched goods.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Worker or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, and packing.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification is advantageous).
• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and adherence to safe working practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills for record keeping and documentation purposes.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
