Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and organization of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Order Processing:
- Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and provide direction to warehouse staff, including training and performance management.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement necessary improvements.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure that warehouse equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Generate reports for management as required.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency measures.
- Streamline warehouse procedures to optimize productivity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Availability to work 30 hours per week.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
