Key Responsibilities:

Harvest, sort, and package fresh mushrooms for distribution.
Operate basic farm equipment and tools for picking and packing.
Ensure that mushrooms are handled and stored according to quality standards.
Load and unload harvested mushrooms and materials as needed.
Monitor the growth of mushrooms and report any pest or disease issues.
Maintain cleanliness in the farm and work areas.
Assist with planting, watering, and growing mushrooms under controlled conditions.
Follow safety regulations to prevent injuries and maintain a safe work environment.
Work efficiently to meet daily harvesting and packaging targets.
Perform other general farm duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

No formal education or previous experience required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy objects throughout the work shift.
Comfortable working in humid and cool greenhouse environments.
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime when needed.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
Basic English communication skills for workplace interactions.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience working on a farm or in an agricultural setting is an asset.
Knowledge of mushroom farming or organic crop production.
Experience with harvesting, sorting, or packaging produce.
Familiarity with using basic farm machinery or irrigation systems.
