Responsibilities:

• Assist with various farm tasks, such as animal husbandry, crop cultivation, and general farm maintenance.
• Carry out daily checks on livestock, ensuring their welfare and health.
• Administer medications and vaccinations to animals under the guidance of farm supervisors or veterinarians.
• Support in the planting, fertilizing, and harvesting of crops, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and safety.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water usage.
• Conduct regular inspections of farm facilities and infrastructure, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
• Collaborate with other farm workers and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and high-quality outputs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Keep accurate records of work activities, such as animal health records, crop yields, and maintenance logs.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and new developments in farming techniques.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred, with a focus on animal husbandry and crop cultivation.
• Knowledge of farm machinery and equipment, with the ability to operate and perform routine maintenance.
• Understanding of animal health and welfare practices.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility in working hours, as farming operations may require early mornings, weekends, or longer hours during peak seasons.
• Valid driver’s license is advantageous but not always required, depending on the farm’s specific needs.
