Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver at Taxi’s To Go, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods and materials from one location to another in a safe and timely manner. You will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading cargo
- Ensuring that cargo is properly secured
- Completing all necessary paperwork, such as logbooks, delivery receipts, and inspection reports
- Complying with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the operation of commercial vehicles
- Performing regular maintenance and inspections on your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Communicating with dispatch and customers to provide updates on delivery status and any issues that may arise
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- A clean driving record
- The ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
