Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced Tractor Drivers to join our team in various locations across Canada. As a Tractor Driver, you will play a vital role in our agricultural operations, operating tractors and performing a range of tasks to support farm operations. Responsibilities:

Operate tractors and other farm machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Perform tasks such as plowing, tilling, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops using tractor-mounted implements.
Transport materials, equipment, and supplies within the farm premises as needed.
Maintain and inspect tractors and equipment regularly, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
Follow instructions from farm supervisors or managers regarding work assignments and priorities.
Collaborate with other farm workers and participate in general farm activities as required.
Adhere to environmental and agricultural regulations, ensuring responsible and sustainable farming practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including storage areas for machinery and equipment.
Comply with health and safety policies, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including hours worked, tasks completed, and any incidents or accidents.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Tractor Driver or similar role, preferably in an agricultural setting.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of tractor operations and experience with various tractor-mounted implements.
Familiarity with agricultural practices and techniques, including crop cultivation and maintenance.
Ability to operate tractors and machinery safely, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude to identify and troubleshoot minor issues with tractors and equipment.
Physical stamina and fitness to withstand long hours of outdoor work and repetitive tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed during peak farming seasons.
Knowledge of environmental and agricultural regulations is a plus.
