Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Respond to inquiries and provide information about products and services. Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times.
2. Cashier Duties: Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle payments and issue receipts. Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the end of each shift.
3. Stock Management: Replenish shelves and ensure products are neatly arranged and well-stocked. Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or damages to the supervisor.
4. Merchandising: Assist in creating attractive displays to promote products and seasonal items. Ensure price tags and promotional materials are displayed correctly.
5. Cleaning and Sanitization: Keep the store premises clean and tidy at all times. Regularly sanitize shopping carts, baskets, and high-touch surfaces to maintain a hygienic shopping environment.
6. Assist with Deliveries: Receive and unpack merchandise deliveries. Check for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
7. Adherence to Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe shopping experience for both customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Previous experience in the retail industry is a plus but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
