Job Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of goods and materials, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to monitor quantities and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Organize and arrange products and materials within the store, ensuring a well-organized and easily accessible layout.
- Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying the quality and quantity of items and addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare and package items for shipment to customers, ensuring they are properly labeled and securely packaged.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for replenishment of stock and timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to accurately forecast stock needs and ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor expiration dates and shelf life of products, rotating stock as needed to minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on store equipment and report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide information about availability and pricing.
Education and Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
- Familiarity with inventory software and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a store environment.
