Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize the performance of cargo handling systems at airports.
Lead a team of professionals responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cargo handling equipment and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all aspects of cargo handling operations.
Collaborate with airport authorities, airlines, and other stakeholders to coordinate cargo handling activities and resolve operational issues.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance activities.
Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in cargo handling systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in airport operations, cargo handling, or related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of cargo handling systems, including conveyors, sorting systems, and warehouse automation.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals.
Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and operational excellence.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing airport operations and cargo handling.
Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and certifications as required.
