Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Senior QS (Quantity Surveyor) may include:

Managing and overseeing the financial aspects of construction projects.
Preparing and analyzing cost estimates for projects.
Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
Procuring and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Preparing and managing project budgets and cost control.

Education and Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certification as a Quantity Surveyor (e.g., MRICS) is preferred.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on senior roles.
Strong knowledge of construction cost management and procurement.
Proficiency in cost estimation and financial analysis.
Familiarity with construction contracts and contract administration.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in construction project management software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Knowledge of Singaporean construction regulations and codes.
