As a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer specializing in the Water Sector in the UK, you will be responsible for leading and delivering engineering projects related to water infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to the development and maintenance of critical water supply, treatment, and distribution systems, ensuring the efficient and sustainable delivery of clean water to communities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Lead and manage water infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within budget, timeline, and quality parameters. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
2. Design and Analysis: Develop conceptual and detailed designs for water-related projects, including water treatment plants, pipelines, reservoirs, pumping stations, and drainage systems. Perform hydraulic analysis, modeling, and simulations to optimize system performance and mitigate risks.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, codes, standards, and environmental regulations in the water sector. Coordinate with regulatory authorities and obtain necessary permits and approvals for project implementation.
4. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, address concerns, and foster effective communication. Requirements:

1. Education: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent professional registration is preferred.
2. Experience: Have extensive experience in the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects, including water treatment, distribution, and drainage systems. A minimum of [X] years of experience as a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer is required.
