Responsibilities

As a Security Officer at Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts, your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and patrolling the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates
• Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances
• Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of the premises
• Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Calling police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred
• The ability to obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong sense of responsibility and integrity
