The Role: Resourcing Advisor – Catering
We’re seeking a dynamic Resourcing Advisor to join our catering team, focusing on talent acquisition and workforce planning. This role is perfect for someone passionate about recruitment, employee engagement, and the catering industry. Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for catering roles, from chefs and kitchen assistants to catering managers.
- Advertise vacancies on job boards, social media, and industry-specific platforms.
- Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and coordinate assessment centres to identify top talent.
Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with catering managers to forecast staffing needs and create recruitment plans.
- Build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles, including apprenticeships and seasonal positions.
- Monitor turnover rates and retention strategies to ensure a stable workforce.
Candidate Experience
- Provide a positive and professional experience for all candidates, from application to onboarding.
- Conduct right-to-work checks and manage visa sponsorship processes for international hires.
- Deliver induction programs to help new employees integrate into OCS Group.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with UK employment law and OCS policies.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate recruitment reports.
- Support audits by providing documentation and responding to queries from external agencies.
Employer Branding
- Promote OCS Group as an employer of choice through engaging job adverts and social media campaigns.
- Represent OCS at career fairs, industry events, and community outreach programs.
- Gather feedback from candidates and employees to improve the recruitment process.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience: 2+ years in recruitment, resourcing, or HR, preferably in the catering or hospitality sector.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Organisation: Strong time management and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in ATS, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle recruitment challenges with creativity and professionalism.
Desirable Qualifications
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR/recruitment qualification.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and visa sponsorship processes.
- Multilingual skills to support Ipswich’s diverse workforce (e.g., Polish, Urdu).
