Registered Nurse (Nights) with Visa Sponsorship

Job Summary:

Advinia Health Care, a reputable healthcare provider in the United Kingdom, is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurses to join our night shift team. As a Registered General Nurse (Night), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents during the night hours. You will ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being, and manage any emergencies or healthcare needs that may arise. This position requires strong clinical skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess residents’ needs, create individualized care plans, and deliver high-quality nursing care during night shifts.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols and maintaining accurate records.
3. Monitor residents’ conditions, vital signs, and symptoms, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
4. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance or interventions as required.
5. Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being throughout the night.
6. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and effective communication regarding residents’ needs and progress.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, care plans, and interventions.
8. Implement infection control measures and follow health and safety regulations to promote a safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
9. Provide emotional support to residents and their families, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance during the night shift.
10. Act as a role model for junior staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

1. Valid registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the United Kingdom.
2. Previous experience as a Registered General Nurse, preferably in a night shift or similar role, is desirable.
3. Strong clinical skills and the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
4. Knowledge and understanding of person-centered care principles and their application in a healthcare setting.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with residents, families, and colleagues.
6. Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to provide the highest standard of care during night hours.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
8. Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations, infection control practices, and emergency protocols.
9. Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology.
10. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current nursing practices and regulations.
