Job Description

The Future Care Group is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents within our care homes. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Responsibilities:

1. Provide person-centered care to residents based on their individual needs, preferences, and care plans.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health conditions, develop appropriate nursing care plans, and ensure their effective implementation.
3. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
4. Monitor residents’ vital signs, observe any changes in their condition, and take prompt action to address any concerns or emergencies.
5. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and care staff, to ensure holistic and coordinated care delivery.
6. Assist with residents’ mobility, activities of daily living, and personal care, maintaining their comfort, dignity, and independence.
7. Provide emotional support to residents and their families, actively listening to their concerns and addressing them with empathy and compassion.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all care provided, assessments, and other relevant information, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
9. Participate in team meetings, handover sessions, and contribute to care planning discussions to ensure continuity and quality of care.
10. Adhere to infection control protocols, health and safety regulations, and promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

Requirements:

1. Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the United Kingdom.
2. Compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of residents.
3. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices, including medication administration and wound care.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with residents, families, and the care team.
5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
6. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
7. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
8. Experience in a care home or similar healthcare setting is desirable, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
9. Willingness to participate in further training and continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
10. Right to work in the United Kingdom.
