Job Description
The Future Care Group is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents within our care homes. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care to residents based on their individual needs, preferences, and care plans.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health conditions, develop appropriate nursing care plans, and ensure their effective implementation.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, observe any changes in their condition, and take prompt action to address any concerns or emergencies.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and care staff, to ensure holistic and coordinated care delivery.
- Assist with residents’ mobility, activities of daily living, and personal care, maintaining their comfort, dignity, and independence.
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families, actively listening to their concerns and addressing them with empathy and compassion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all care provided, assessments, and other relevant information, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Participate in team meetings, handover sessions, and contribute to care planning discussions to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, health and safety regulations, and promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the United Kingdom.
- Compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of residents.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices, including medication administration and wound care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with residents, families, and the care team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Experience in a care home or similar healthcare setting is desirable, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Willingness to participate in further training and continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
