Key Responsibilities:

1. Garden Care: Plan, plant, cultivate, and maintain gardens, flower beds, and green spaces on the organization’s property.
2. Plant Health: Monitor and care for the health of plants, including watering, pruning, weeding, and pest control.
3. Landscaping: Assist with landscaping projects, including the installation of new features and the maintenance of existing ones.
4. Environmental Sustainability: Promote and implement environmentally sustainable practices in garden and landscape management.
5. Education: Educate and involve community members, including individuals with developmental disabilities, in gardening and plant care activities.
6. Supervision: May supervise and provide guidance to volunteers or community members participating in gardening activities.

Qualifications:

• Horticultural Experience: Previous experience in horticulture, gardening, or landscaping is preferred.
• Passion for Plants: A genuine passion for plants, gardening, and environmental sustainability.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Team Player: Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within a community setting.
