Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises to deter and detect any security breaches or suspicious activities.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to identify and respond promptly to security incidents or breaches.
• Perform access control duties, including checking identification, verifying credentials, and authorizing entry to authorized individuals.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, such as fire alarms or medical incidents, following established protocols and procedures.
• Report any security incidents, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate authorities or supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, or requests from clients, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure a coordinated approach to security operations.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required to enhance skills and knowledge in security practices.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a security-related role is preferred but not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates.
• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is desirable but not essential. We can assist qualified candidates in obtaining the necessary license.
• Excellent observation skills with the ability to identify potential security risks or threats.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and the public.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and handle emergencies efficiently.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills to operate security systems and maintain accurate records.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability in handling sensitive information.
• Flexibility to work various part-time shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, based on the assigned schedule.
