Job Summary:

Little Ones UK Ltd, a reputable childcare agency, is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Nannies to join our team in London. As a Nanny, you will provide high-quality care and support to families, ensuring the well-being and development of children in your care. You will play an essential role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide attentive and responsible childcare to children of various ages, following the family’s routine and guidelines.
2. Create a safe and secure environment for children, ensuring their well-being, health, and safety at all times.
3. Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as playtime, educational games, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities.
4. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, considering any dietary restrictions or allergies.
5. Organize and supervise daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and bedtime routines.
6. Accompany children to school, extracurricular activities, and appointments, ensuring their timely arrival and providing necessary support.
7. Assist with homework and educational tasks, offering guidance and encouragement.
8. Foster positive behavior and discipline techniques in line with the family’s approach.
9. Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress, activities, and any relevant information.
10. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including children’s bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces.
11. Ensure children’s belongings are appropriately laundered and well-maintained.
12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience working as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
2. Passion for working with children and a genuine interest in their well-being and development.
3. Excellent understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
4. Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children’s growth and learning.
5. Knowledge of child health and safety guidelines, including first aid and CPR certification (desirable).
6. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other household staff.
7. Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy nature with a high level of integrity.
8. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required by families.
9. Fluent spoken and written English.
10. Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
