Job Summary:

As a Mall Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors, tenants, and staff within the mall. Your primary role will be to monitor and patrol designated areas, promptly respond to incidents, and enforce mall policies and regulations. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle diverse situations professionally.

Responsibilities:

Monitor CCTV cameras and conduct regular patrols to maintain a visible security presence within the mall.
Enforce mall rules and regulations to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for visitors and tenants.
Greet and assist mall visitors with a friendly and helpful attitude, providing directions and information as needed.
Inspect bags and packages of visitors to prevent theft and unauthorized items from entering the mall.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security alarms.
Handle conflicts or disruptive behavior among visitors, de-escalating situations whenever possible.
Collaborate with other security team members and mall management to address security concerns and implement preventive measures.
Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary.
Assist in crowd control during peak hours and special events, ensuring the orderly flow of visitors.
Escort and assist tenants and employees during cash deposits or other security-sensitive activities.
Conduct regular fire and safety inspections, reporting any issues to appropriate authorities.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, activities, and daily security logs.
Participate in training programs to enhance security skills and knowledge.
Handle any other security-related tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience as a Security Guard or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Security training or certifications are advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
Basic knowledge of security procedures, crowd control, and emergency response protocols.
Physically fit to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods.
UAE residency or work permit is required for local applicants; visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
