Responsibilities:

1. Receive incoming shipments and verify their accuracy against purchase orders or delivery notes.
2. Unload, sort, and organize products efficiently, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
3. Pick and pack products according to order requirements, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Prepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely and creating shipping labels or documentation.
5. Assist with inventory management by conducting regular counts and reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
6. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, following safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and keeping work areas tidy.
8. Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
9. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials if required.
10. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, reporting any issues, damages, or operational concerns.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
2. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects safely (up to 50 pounds or more) for extended periods.
3. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping.
4. Basic computer skills for data entry and utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
5. Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, with proper certifications or willingness to obtain them.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, inventory management, and following instructions.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with supervisors and team members effectively.
9. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to workplace safety.
10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as required by clients’ needs.
