Requirements
To be eligible for this role:
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in outdoor weather (rain, sun, wind)
- Ability to follow directions, work in teams, and meet daily targets
- No previous experience required (training provided)
- Must pass a basic background and health check (if requested for visa)
- Preference given to those who can commit for the entire season (May–October)
Available Job Titles (Easy to Understand and Apply)
We are hiring 12 full-time seasonal farm workers across the following 10 easy roles:
1. Fruit Picker – Apples & Cherries
- Pick ripe fruits from trees manually and place them into bins.
- Requires attention to fruit quality, speed, and stamina.
2. Fruit Sorter & Grader
- Work at sorting tables, separating bruised fruits from premium ones.
- Requires basic hand-eye coordination and focus.
3. Packhouse Assistant
- Pack fruits into boxes, apply stickers, and label packaging.
- Maintain cleanliness in the packing area.
4. Irrigation Helper
- Assist in watering crops using hoses and sprinkler systems.
- Help with pump operation and maintenance.
5. Tree Pruner
- Trim tree branches using handheld pruners or shears.
- Requires balance and safe ladder usage.
6. Weeding & General Field Laborer
- Remove weeds manually and prepare soil beds.
- No special skills required—just a willingness to work.
7. Fruit Loader (Box Handler)
- Carry packed fruit crates and load them onto trucks or trolleys.
- Must be able to lift moderately heavy boxes.
8. Farm Maintenance Helper
- Support minor farm repairs (fence fixing, shed maintenance).
- Use basic hand tools—no prior carpentry required.
9. Pest Control Assistant
- Help apply safe pesticides or manage traps under supervision.
- Must wear PPE (provided) and follow safety protocols.
10. Accommodation Cleaner
- Maintain shared living spaces (kitchens, bathrooms) for farm staff.
- Basic housekeeping skills preferred but not required.
⏰ Working Hours and Duration
- Start Date: May 2025
- End Date: October 2025
- Working Hours: 8 hours/day minimum, 6 days/week
- Overtime: Available (paid according to Canadian labor laws)
- Breaks: 2 short breaks + 1 lunch break daily

- Shared farm housing available at a minimal deduction from salary
- Basic facilities include:
- Bunk beds, kitchens, bathrooms
- Cooking equipment, internet (Wi-Fi), laundry
- Weekly housekeeping and cleaning support
- Located within walking distance to worksite
🍽️ Meals
- Workers can cook their own food (groceries are available nearby)
- Farm provides starter grocery packs for new arrivals
- Access to shared kitchen and fridge space
Transportation & Visa Assistance
If selected:
- You will be issued an official job offer and LMIA letter
- We will guide you through the work permit application
- Travel support (airport pickup, directions, etc.) is available
- If applying from abroad, airfare may be partially reimbursed (based on government subsidies)
