Job Summary:

We have an urgent opening for a Live-in Nanny position in the UK. As a Live-in Nanny, you will become an integral part of a family’s household, providing dedicated care and support to their children. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and nurturing individual who is passionate about childcare and seeks a live-in arrangement.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide full-time care and support to the children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
2. Establish a warm and nurturing environment where the children can thrive.
3. Create and implement age-appropriate activities to engage and stimulate the children’s growth.
4. Assist with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and feeding.
5. Coordinate and accompany the children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
6. Support the children with homework, educational tasks, and projects.
7. Foster positive behavior and implement discipline techniques in accordance with the family’s guidelines.
8. Maintain open and effective communication with the parents, providing regular updates on the children’s progress, activities, and any concerns.
9. Keep the children’s living areas clean, organized, and safe.
10. Ensure the children’s well-being at all times, both inside and outside the home.
11. Collaborate with other household staff, as necessary, to ensure a harmonious and well-run household.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Live-in Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
2. Genuine passion for working with children and a caring nature.
3. Excellent understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
4. Ability to create a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes children’s growth and development.
5. Knowledge of child health and safety guidelines, including first aid and CPR certification (desirable).
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and parents.
7. Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy nature.
8. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings.
9. Fluent spoken and written English.
10. Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
