Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality care for children, including their physical, emotional, and social needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
2. Create a nurturing and stimulating environment, planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and development.
3. Establish and maintain a daily routine for the children, including meals, nap times, and playtime, ensuring consistency and structure.
4. Assist with personal care routines, such as dressing, bathing, and grooming.
5. Collaborate with parents to understand and implement their preferences and requirements for the children’s care.
6. Organize and accompany children to appointments, outings, and extracurricular activities.
7. Support children with homework, educational activities, and any additional learning needs.
8. Promote positive behavior and discipline techniques in line with the family’s guidelines.
9. Create a warm and caring relationship with the children, providing emotional support and being attentive to their individual needs.
10. Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on the children’s progress, activities, and any concerns.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Live-in Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
2. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are advantageous.
3. Excellent understanding of child development, age-appropriate activities, and best practices in childcare.
4. Ability to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
5. Strong organizational skills to manage daily routines, schedules, and activities effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and parents.
7. Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the needs of the family, including working evenings, weekends, and potentially traveling with the family.
8. High level of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
9. Valid driver’s license is preferred.
10. Proof of legal right to work in the UK.
