- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents, ensuring they are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation, in collaboration with external counsel when necessary.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents impacting the organization’s activities.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Stay abreast of changes in legislation and regulatory requirements relevant to the organization’s operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management and department heads, to address legal issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on legal matters and compliance requirements.
Education and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction where the organization operates.
