Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achievement of business objectives.
- Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies, including workforce planning and succession planning.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance management while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Leadership Development: Design and deliver leadership development programs and coaching to enhance leadership capabilities.
- Change Management: Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring and transformation efforts.
- Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting and feedback mechanisms.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Workplace Culture: Promote and reinforce a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyze HR data to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and provide insights for decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a large and complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and employees.
- Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools.
