Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate laundry facilities to ensure the efficient cleaning and care of residents’ clothing and linens.
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry items in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Handle residents’ laundry with care and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Organize and distribute clean laundry to the appropriate residents.
- Report any issues or concerns related to laundry equipment or supplies to the management.
- Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work closely with the care home team to ensure laundry services meet residents’ needs.
Requirements:
- No previous experience required, as training will be provided; however, experience in laundry or housekeeping will be advantageous.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle laundry equipment effectively.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
