Key Responsibilities:
- Concrete Finishing: Perform concrete finishing tasks, including smoothing and leveling surfaces using hand or power tools.
- Formwork Setup: Set up and dismantle concrete forms and molds to shape concrete surfaces.
- Mixing and Pouring: Prepare concrete mixtures, pour them into forms, and spread, level, and smooth them.
- Texturing: Apply various textures to concrete surfaces to achieve desired finishes.
- Repair Work: Repair and patch concrete surfaces as needed to ensure structural integrity and aesthetics.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of finished concrete surfaces to meet project specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean tools and equipment used in cement finishing.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with construction crews and other trades to ensure project completion.
- Visa and Work Permit Assistance: Island Concrete Finishing Ltd. will provide support for the visa and work permit application process to qualified international applicants.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with concrete tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
