Job Summary:
PPHE Hotel Group is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Hotel Operations Manager. As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient management of resources. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards and resolving guest issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of operations and implement necessary improvements.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to department heads and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Manage and monitor financial performance, including revenue generation, cost control, and budget management.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies for business growth and increased occupancy.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and other relevant legislation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, customer preferences, and competition, and make recommendations to enhance hotel offerings and services.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management, preferably as an Operations Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Sound knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and industry trends.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
