Job Summary:
Maria Mallaband Care Group is currently seeking friendly and dedicated Hospitality Staff to join our team in providing exceptional service and support to our residents. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and clearing of dining areas, ensuring tables are clean and appropriately set.
- Serve meals and beverages to residents in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to portion control and dietary requirements.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, engaging with residents and their families to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Assist with the preparation of refreshments and snacks, following established guidelines and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of tables, chairs, and serving equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and proper coordination of service.
- Respond to resident inquiries and requests promptly and with a helpful attitude.
- Assist with maintaining inventory of dining supplies and report any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and personal hygiene practices.
- Support other hospitality-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is desirable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to food service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
