Job Summary:

As an HGV Driver at T M Resources Ltd, you will be responsible for operating Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to transport goods to various destinations across the UK. Your driving expertise, adherence to safety procedures, and commitment to meeting delivery schedules will be instrumental in providing efficient and reliable transportation services. This role requires a skilled and safety-conscious individual who can work effectively as part of a transportation team.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate HGVs to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
Plan delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
Inspect and maintain the condition of the HGV, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and securing methods.
Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks.
Communicate effectively with the transportation team and clients to coordinate deliveries.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and represent the company in a positive manner.
Follow best practices for fuel efficiency and vehicle maintenance to optimize performance.
Report any accidents or incidents promptly and cooperate with investigations.
Assist in other transportation-related tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid HGV driving license (Category C or C+E) with Driver CPC qualification.
Proven experience as an HGV Driver, preferably in transporting goods.
Clean driving record and understanding of road safety regulations.
Ability to plan routes efficiently and adapt to changing conditions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and long-distance routes.
Physical fitness for loading and unloading goods as required.
