Job Description:

As a Health Care Assistant at NHS Jobs in the UK, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and care to patients within the National Health Service (NHS). Key Responsibilities:

  5. Patient Comfort and Safety: Ensure patients are comfortable and safe by assisting with positioning, transferring, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections.
  6. Communication: Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. Provide updates and convey patients’ concerns or needs to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Patient Support: Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  8. Equipment and Supplies: Assist in the management and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring their availability and proper functioning.
  9. Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow all relevant NHS policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the provision of safe and quality care.
  10. Continuous Learning: Engage in opportunities for professional development, including training programs and updates to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
