- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on gas equipment, including valves, meters, regulators, and pipelines, to minimize downtime and prevent failures.
- Respond to gas emergencies, leaks, and customer complaints promptly, following established protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure public safety.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities, implement improvements, and address operational challenges.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel and contractors involved in gas operations activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation to support regulatory requirements and internal audits.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Gas Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in gas operations, utilities, or a similar industry is desirable.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in gas operations, safety, or related areas may be required.
- Strong knowledge of gas distribution systems, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
