Responsibilities:

1. Greet and welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, assisting them with seating and table arrangements.
2. Support the front-of-house team by taking food and drink orders from customers and entering them into the system accurately.
3. Ensure tables are cleared and cleaned promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area for customers.
4. Assist with serving food and beverages to tables when needed.
5. Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about the menu, specials, and promotions.
6. Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
7. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while handling customer concerns or complaints, escalating to a manager when necessary.
8. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area, including clearing and cleaning trays, utensils, and high chairs.
9. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for customers.
10. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
3. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
4. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. Enthusiasm and passion for providing exceptional customer service.
6. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle customer complaints with tact and diplomacy.
7. Basic math skills for handling payments and operating the POS system.
8. A positive and proactive work ethic, with a focus on delivering great customer experiences.
9. Adherence to health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
