Experience

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport cargo.
Safely stack and store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
Inspect and maintain forklifts, reporting any malfunctions or damage to the maintenance team.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
Assist in the loading and unloading of shipping containers, trailers, and trucks.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and efficient cargo movement.
Use handheld devices or other tracking systems to record cargo movements and update inventory.
Perform routine checks of cargo and packaging for damages or irregularities.
Ensure proper labeling and identification of cargo for accurate tracking.
Follow company policies and procedures for cargo handling and workplace safety.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, preferably in a shipping or logistics environment.
Valid UAE forklift operator license is required.
Strong knowledge of forklift operation techniques and safety procedures.
Ability to lift heavy loads and work in varying weather conditions.
Attention to detail and accuracy in cargo handling and documentation.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Basic computer skills for electronic inventory tracking systems.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
