Job Summary:
As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will oversee the food and beverage operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and high-quality dining offerings. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, including restaurants, bars, banquet services, and in-room dining.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, increase guest satisfaction, and meet financial targets.
- Ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service are maintained consistently.
- Manage and train food and beverage staff, providing guidance on service standards, product knowledge, and upholding brand values.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients, guest preferences, and dietary requirements.
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs, including inventory management, portion control, and waste reduction.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and licensing requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong partnerships to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
- Coordinate and oversee banquet and event operations, working closely with the sales and events team to ensure successful execution.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to food and beverage, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
- Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, bars, and kitchens to ensure cleanliness, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews, taking proactive measures to address issues and continuously improve guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the food and beverage department.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging concepts, and new technologies in food and beverage operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures in a food and beverage environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using food and beverage software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
