Job Summary:

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will oversee the food and beverage operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and high-quality dining offerings. Your leadership skills, industry knowledge, and passion for culinary excellence will contribute to the success of our food and beverage department. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, including restaurants, bars, banquet services, and in-room dining.
2. Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, increase guest satisfaction, and meet financial targets.
3. Ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service are maintained consistently.
4. Manage and train food and beverage staff, providing guidance on service standards, product knowledge, and upholding brand values.
5. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients, guest preferences, and dietary requirements.
6. Monitor and control food and beverage costs, including inventory management, portion control, and waste reduction.
7. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and licensing requirements.
8. Foster positive relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong partnerships to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
9. Coordinate and oversee banquet and event operations, working closely with the sales and events team to ensure successful execution.
10. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to food and beverage, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
11. Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, bars, and kitchens to ensure cleanliness, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
12. Monitor customer feedback and reviews, taking proactive measures to address issues and continuously improve guest satisfaction.
13. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the food and beverage department.
14. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging concepts, and new technologies in food and beverage operations.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is required.
2. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, and industry trends.
3. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
4. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
6. Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
7. Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures in a food and beverage environment.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Proficiency in using food and beverage software and Microsoft Office applications.
10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
11. High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality.
12. Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
