Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, components, and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct electrical system inspections, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements or repairs.
- Install, test, and commission electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions, employing systematic methods to identify and rectify problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with other engineering and technical personnel to develop and execute electrical projects.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, addressing electrical concerns and offering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote safe working practices within the electrical engineering field.
- Keep abreast of advancements and developments in electrical engineering, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including technical reports, drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Adhere to project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of electrical engineering tasks.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in industrial, commercial, or construction settings.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in electrical engineering practices.
- Flexibility to travel and work at different project sites as required.
- Valid driving license.
