Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles, including trucks and specialized equipment, adhering to safety guidelines and traffic laws.
- Transport materials, machinery, and personnel to and from various work sites and facilities.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Secure loads properly and ensure the safe transport of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of driving activities, vehicle maintenance, and inspections.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to optimize routes and schedules.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Previous experience in driving, especially in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, regulations, and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
