Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Drivers. As a Driver at Ash Safety, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of safety equipment to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to deliver safety equipment to customers at designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of the vehicle, yourself, and other road users.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload safety equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing during transportation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, displaying professionalism and courtesy towards customers during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or special requirements.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to company guidelines for health and safety, including the proper handling of safety equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent driving skills, with a strong emphasis on safety, punctuality, and efficiency.
- Familiarity with local areas and routes within the designated delivery region.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documenting deliveries.
- Dependability and reliability in meeting delivery schedules.
- Flexibility in working hours, as occasional weekend or evening shifts may be required.
