Responsibilities:
- Safely and responsibly operate hotel vehicles, including sedans and vans, to transport guests, staff, and management to designated locations in Dubai.
- Greet guests warmly, assist with luggage handling, and provide a courteous and welcoming atmosphere during transportation.
- Follow pre-planned routes, as well as adapt to unforeseen road closures or traffic delays to ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle, conducting regular checks, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, regulations, and hotel driving policies to ensure the safety of all passengers and road users.
- Assist guests with information about the hotel’s services, amenities, and local attractions, displaying a friendly and knowledgeable attitude.
- Collaborate with the Concierge and Front Desk teams to coordinate transportation requests efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with the hotel’s security and confidentiality standards while handling guest transportation.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or emergencies promptly to the management and follow established procedures.
- Uphold the hotel’s professional image by maintaining a neat appearance and adhering to the designated dress code.
- Remain updated on Dubai’s traffic conditions, construction projects, and alternate routes to optimize travel efficiency.
- Follow eco-friendly driving practices to minimize fuel consumption and reduce the hotel’s environmental impact.
- Assist in other tasks or departments as needed to support the overall hotel operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid UAE driving license, preferably with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional Driver, preferably within the hospitality industry or a reputable organization.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai’s roads, traffic regulations, and local landmarks.
- Proficiency in using navigation devices and smartphone applications for efficient route planning.
- Strong customer service skills with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both spoken and written).
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work with flexibility in shifts if required.
- Physical fitness to handle luggage and assist guests comfortably.
- Positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and composed in demanding situations.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or tourism industry is advantageous.
