Job Summary:
As a Delivery Driver at Steeline Mildura, you will be responsible for safely and punctually delivering products to our valued customers. Your attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and commitment to customer satisfaction will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service. This role offers the chance to work with a supportive team, serve diverse clients, and contribute to the logistics operations of Steeline Mildura.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
- Load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring they are secured properly.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide courteous and professional service.
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Uphold traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate order preparation.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Australian driver’s license (Class C or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar driving role.
- Excellent driving record and familiarity with local roads and routes.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and loading products.
- Attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.
- Eligibility for an Australian work visa (visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates).
