Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Distribution Center Manager in planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of warehouse operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure that all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the system and that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
- Monitor productivity, performance, and quality standards of warehouse operations, implementing improvements as needed.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for warehouse staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics and distribution activities.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in warehouse management or logistics, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of best practices in warehouse operations and inventory management.
