Job Responsibilities:
- As a Dental Nurse, you will be expected to:
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments.
- Sterilize dental instruments and ensure proper infection control procedures.
- Maintain dental equipment and assist in managing inventory.
- Comfort patients and support them before, during, and after treatment.
- Record treatment details and update patient records in dental software systems.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized clinical environment.
- Take and process dental radiographs (if qualified).
- Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, and front-desk teams.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and aftercare instructions.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have:
- A diploma or degree in dental nursing (or equivalent qualification).
- General Dental Council (GDC) registration or proof of application in process.
- 1–2 years of experience in a dental nursing role (internships included).
- Proficiency in English – both written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of cross-infection control, decontamination, and health & safety.
- A compassionate, ethical, and patient-first approach.
- Willingness to relocate and commit to a long-term role in the UK.
