Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a delivery truck to transport kitchen and bathroom products to customer locations.
Load and unload products onto the truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
Plan delivery routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer requirements.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery truck to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery truck.
Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products in a timely and professional manner, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns courteously.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery receipts, invoices, and other required documentation.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking and loading of products for delivery.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
Comply with company safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a delivery truck driver, preferably in the kitchen and bathroom industry or related field.
Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations and traffic laws.
Ability to safely operate and maneuver delivery trucks of various sizes and configurations.
Excellent driving skills and a strong focus on safety.
Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and execute efficient delivery routes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and strength to load and unload products, as well as perform general warehouse tasks.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in completing delivery-related documentation.
