Job Summary:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering orders to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. Your ability to navigate routes efficiently, handle deliveries with care, and maintain accurate delivery records will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. This role requires a proactive and responsible individual who can handle the demands of a fast-paced delivery environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare delivery orders and ensure all items are properly packed for transportation.
Safely operate delivery vehicles, adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
Navigate assigned delivery routes efficiently, using GPS or other navigation tools as needed.
Check and verify delivery addresses before starting the delivery process.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Handle cash transactions and collect payments from customers, if required.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery times, signatures, and any incidents.
Inspect delivery vehicles regularly and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Assist in loading and unloading delivery items at the warehouse or delivery points.
Collaborate with the dispatch team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes.
Communicate effectively with customers and the operations team to resolve any delivery-related issues.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Handle any other delivery-related tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar driving role is preferred but not mandatory.
Valid UAE driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Familiarity with delivery routes and locations in Dubai is advantageous.
Excellent driving skills and the ability to handle different types of vehicles, including vans and motorcycles.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English (both spoken and written).
Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
UAE residency or work permit is required for local applicants; visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
